Judges and Court advisers
Judges of the Supreme Court of Serbia (whose number at the beginning of 2009 was 64) are allocated into panels whose number and composition are determined by the President of the court in the Annual time table of tasks for judges for the current year according to the Law on Organization of Courts and Rules of Procedure on Organisation and Work of the Supreme Court of Serbia.
Court advisers of the Supreme Court assist judges and their status is determined by the Law on Organization of Courts. According to this Law a person who meets the criteria required for a judge at a district court may acquire the title of court adviser. A title of the court adviser of the Supreme Court of Serbia shall be acquired by a decision of the General Session of the Supreme Court of Serbia.
