Court management

Court management tasks are managed by the president, who is responsible for correct and timely work of the court. If the president is unable to work or is away, he/she is replaced by the judge so determined in the Аnnual task timetable. President may entrust part of court management tasks to presidents of departments or other judges.

Court management tasks are tasks serving the exercise of judical power, that is „tasks of internal organization determined by law, these Rules of Procedure, and in particular:

  • organisation of internal work in the court;
  • taking care of timely and due performance of tasks in the court;
  • summoning and assigning lay judges;
  • tasks related to court expert, court interpreters, bankruptcy and winding-up administrators;
  • considering complaints and applications;
  • keeping statistics and making reports;
  • control of execution of criminal sanctions;
  • financial and material operation of the court;
  • validation of documents intended for use abroad-;
  • international legal aid tasks;
  • expert tasks related to realisation of rights, obligations and responsibilities of court staff and justices in court;
  • passing of general and individual acts related to systematization, internal organisations and labour relations and other general acts governing internal relations;
  • tasks related to professional advancement of judges and court staff;
  • managing court statistical service;
  • keeping reports on work of judges;
  • tasks of administering the court building and immovables assigned to court for use;
  • tasks regarding the charging court duties;
  • tasks of court deposit;
  • other tasks related to internal organisation and operation of the court when so designated by the law or court‘s general act.“
