Juvenile Delinquency Panel

The Law on Juvenile Offenders prescribes establishing of a Juvenile Delinquency Panel as a second instance criminal and legal protection mechanism for juvenile offenders until the Appellate Court is established.


Тhe Juvenile Delinquency Panel at the Supreme Court of Serbia is composed of three judges. This type of proceeding shall be always closed to the public.

Judges in charge of this procedure are professionals specialized in the child rights and juvenile delinquency, who obtain the mentioned skills through professional advancement training at the Judicial Training Centre (the JTC). The JTC will in cooperation with the relevant ministries of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, scientific institutions and professional associations and NGOs, organize professional workshops, assessments of knowledge and other forms of additional professional advancement and continuous training and issue respective certificates.
